LATISSE® is bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%, a prescription treatment for inadequate or insufficient eyelashes. With correct once-daily application, it supports the natural growth phase of the upper eyelashes so lashes can gradually appear longer, fuller and darker.

Why it stands out

  • Prescription-only eyelash treatment with results that develop gradually through consistent use.
  • The 5 mL presentation provides an approximately 10-week supply when used as directed.
  • Applied only along the skin of the upper lash line with a fresh sterile applicator.
  • Maximum improvement is generally evaluated over a longer treatment course, often around 16 weeks.

Application guidance

Remove contact lenses and makeup, cleanse the face, and use one sterile applicator for each upper eyelid exactly as prescribed. Do not apply to the lower lash line, reuse applicators or allow the bottle tip to touch the eye or other surfaces. Blot excess solution outside the treatment area.

Who may benefit

Adults who have been evaluated by a qualified provider and want prescription treatment for sparse or inadequate natural eyelashes.

Pairing it with other products

Use at the same time each evening and allow the solution to dry before applying other eye-area products. The provider should review eye history, medications, possible iris or eyelid pigmentation changes, irritation and other labeled risks before treatment begins.

Prescription product: use only for the person for whom it was prescribed and follow the current prescribing information. Contact the prescribing office about eye pain, vision changes, marked redness or other unexpected symptoms.
