Amanda is a native of Zachary, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Sociology in 2011. She went on to attend Louisiana State University’s Physician Assistant Program in New Orleans, where she earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2017. Amanda was awarded board certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to attending PA school, Amanda gained 8 years of dermatology experience as a medical assistant. Amanda worked in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care as a physician assistant, prior to joining the Dermatology Clinic.
Amanda has a true passion for dermatology. She enjoys uplifting her patients and encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. She approaches cosmetic procedures with a mindset of enhancing a person’s natural beauty. In her free time, Amanda likes to spend time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys painting, gardening, boating, traveling and cooking. She adores her two cats.
